Sr. Director, Estate and Gift Planning
David joined UTHealth in August 2016 as Director of Gift Planning. Prior to joining UTHealth, David served as Senior Director of Gift Planning at MD Anderson, Director of Gift Planning at Baylor College of Medicine and Executive Director of Constituent Development at the University of Houston. Since the start of David's fundraising career, he has focused on gifts of non-cash assets and helping individuals develop a gift plan that will produce beneficial results for the donor and their family. Memberships include the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, Planned Giving Council of Houston and Houston Estate and Financial Forum.
David and his wife Sheri have been married for 33 years and have two sons and two granddaughters.
Director, Estate and Gift Planning
Jennifer joined UTHealth in June 2018 as Director of Estate and Gift Planning. Her favorite part of her job is working with donors and their advisors to find the best assets and the most tax-wise methods of fulfilling their philanthropic goals. Her extensive history in gift planning and fundraising includes working in both higher education and health care settings. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Mississippi and a Juris Doctor degree from Cornell University. She is a member of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, the Planned Giving Council of Houston, and the Houston Estate and Financial Forum.
Trudy joined UTHealth in July 2016 as a Development Coordinator for Planned Giving. Trudy serves as the primary liaison between with the University of Texas System Office of Development and Gift Planning Services with regard to all estate gifts. Prior to joining UTHealth, Trudy was a Project Manager and Marketing Coordinator specializing in direct mail and email campaigns, advertising and digital microsites. Originally from Michigan, Trudy graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Communications. She has a passion for volunteering; she worked with Michigan's Underground Railroad and currently volunteers with the Houston Area Women's Center. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and listening to live music.
